Fundraiser for Boston Marathon Victims

 

Boston Artist Dan Blakeslee has given Emulsion Co.  the opportunity to sell his Marathon-Inspired-Artwork in order to raise money for victims of the Marathon Tragedy.

 

For their fundraiser this week, we will be donating 100% of the proceeds to The “Jacqui Webb, Paul and JP Norden: Road to Recovery” fund. All who have been severely affected in the tragedy. Click for Info

So we’re happy to announce the newest addition to our website.  It’s called “Collectors” and it’s all about the awesome people behind the tattoos we do.  We hope to update this section monthly but will be adding a few people in the next couple weeks to get started. Fundraiser Results

Well, The final count for donations is GREAT! $4,576 Which is just short of our goal. Amazing and awesome. Thanks so much to everyone who came out, donated, bought stuff and entered our raffle. It was great to spend time with so many great and like minded people. Thanks to The guys out back at Earth Eagle Brewings (for contributing part of their day and money), And Nick Filth of Hidden History Tattoo for working his bum off doing tattoos here all day long! The money raised will make a huge difference in Josh’s and Irwin’s lives and they’re super grateful. Thank you to everyone.

Fundraiser for Irwin’s spinal surgery!

A few days ago our good friend, Josh, came home to find his dog, Irwin, badly injured and unable to move his legs. He brought him to the emergency pet center and they had to preform emergency spinal surgery. Unfortunately the costs are already well over five thousand and the vet isn’t sure what other things that Irwin will need. Josh is a really amazing local artist and his dog is his family. He can’t afford such expensive surgeries and Irwin doesn’t deserve to suffer. So….

We are having a fundraiser to help pay for Irwin’s spinal surgery. On Sunday, March 10th at noon we will be doing tattoos and piercings for donations. Also, Nick Filth will be joining us to help!

Donate $30 or more and get a piercing. Piercings will be nostrils (captive beads or gems), navels (captive beads or gems) or cartilage/ear lobes. (Must have valid I.D. Check out website for underage requirements)

Donate $35 or more and get a small tattoo. (Check our website and our photo albums for design options, sizes, colors and body placements)

We will also be doing a raffle for a Grim North gift certificate and selling some great prints and art from local and national artists. We’ll be adding photos of tattoo design options, the prints and art for sale and lots of cool stuff.  Plan on getting there early. Also! Earth Eagle Brewing (located behind Grim North) will be joining in. From 1-3pm on Sunday, March 10th stop over and half of the money from your drinks will go to Irwin.

Fundraiser Sketchbook

The Amsterdam Tattoo Museum (A.T.M.) is in danger of shutting down.  You can read our About page for more info, or the official plea for help here.  http://tattoomuseum.wordpress.com
Our goal is to pre-sell as many sketchbooks as possible and donate the profits to the A.T.M.

These books will be standard 8 1/2″x11″ and feature the sketches and line drawings of around 100 tattoo artists. They’ll be professionally printed, have a color cover, black and white sketches, be wire bound and the pages will be #60lb.

We will be selling them as a Pre-order until SUNDAY, JAN 13th, 2013.  Then we will order the books and begin shipping them over the next week.  There will be a very limited amount of books available after the Pre-Order, so don’t miss out.
